Stealth Home Cinema
A sculpted sanctuary for pure cinematic experience
Studio Bartolotta has designed a state-of-the-art private cinema, an immersive environment where architecture, acoustics, and performance converge to create a singular experience. Inspired by the sculpted precision of a grand-touring sports car, the space is both stealthy and refined: a retreat for cinematic escape, wrapped in comfort, clarity, and light.
The theater unfolds across three tiers of seating. The front row is a relaxed sectional with chaises; the second features advanced reclining cinema chairs; and the rear transforms into a high-gloss fiberglass bar table—a continuous, fluid surface reminiscent of a control console.
Surrounding the room is a faceted acoustic scrim system: a lightweight aluminum framework wrapped in acoustically transparent fabric. Behind it, hidden Meyer Sound components and tuned treatments deliver distortion-free fidelity while maintaining a seamless visual field. Integrated RGBW lighting within the panels subtly transforms the room, echoing the rhythm and emotion of the film.
The projection system is DCI-compliant, offering true 4K HDR content precisely as mastered for professional cinemas. Four motorized panels frame the screen to adapt to any format, while immersive audio platforms—Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro 3D—move sound fluidly through three-dimensional space, placing the audience within the action itself.
Completing the experience, the projection and control room is conceived as an expressive “engine bay,” its sculpted equipment enclosures and exhaust-inspired ductwork ensuring silent, high-performance operation. The result is a cinematic sanctuary—meticulously engineered, sensorially rich, and wholly transportive.
